° hello i'm mariah. to start off, i work a full time job from home with weekends off. which you'd think give me more time to write but it really doesn't because the job is consistently demanding. i deal with chronic depression and anxiety ( so when doing anything on this blog i will most likely always be slow ) and i'm neurodivergent which just makes this little concoction even more interesting. i get socially ( ooc ) overwhelmed easily and if i ghost you for a few hours or days, it's not your fault, i just need to be able to recharge again.° there will be TRIGGERING / MATURE content ( ie. mental wellbeing/illness, violence, gore and etc. ) associated with this page, and i'll remember to tag it accordingly but that is something to be aware of upon following. and with that being said, this is an adults only page/blog. i will not be interacting with anyone under the age of 20/21 out of my own comfort.°as well all show spoilers will be tagged with hotd spoilers until tuesday or wednesay of that week and may even be put underneath a read more for extra security.° all psds, icons, borders, headers, graphics are mine. credit to partial of the blockquote goes to NEORPH as i did pay and use part of the blockquote border to meld into the rest of the border i made

° i write helaena primarily based on the hotd series, deleted scenes, original concepts and my personal headcanons with a splash of book details sprinkled in. i portray her as neurodivergent and i prefer to write her around the ages of 20 and 21 ( 22 and higher in her canon divergent and au verses ) for comfort sake and any romantic shipping will most likely always take place in her non canon verse, as she's older in those. phia saban is technically the only fc i use for helaena, but due to the shortage of scenes we are given of her i will use lea seydoux ( specifically only in la belle et la bete ) as faceless icons alongside phia.° i enjoy using icons for aesthetic and vibe purposes and unless showed/said otherwise in threads with others, i will continue to use them. when i write i use small double spacing and some of that fancy bold and italic lettering; i try and not do it too much but don't hesitate to shoot me a dm if stuff like that bothers your eyes and would like to not have that in thread(s) we share.° i most likely won't ever do starter calls. i'm just not capable of being that creative to think of all those scenarios, so instead i like to use memes as starters, whether i send them or someone else does. and if you wanna continue a meme, please do! i love doing that and i think sometimes that's better grounds for starting stuff together.° speaking of memes, i love sending and receiving them. when i send them there's no obligation for you to send any back, and sometimes i'll send a couple, doesn't mean you have to answer them all, if you don't want to even answer any that's completely fine! and with receiving memes there is no time limit to when you can't. i'm always open to any and all ( as long as we're mutuals ) and i'll hopefully and eventually get to them all, it'll just take time. also i'm 1000% okay with you continuing more than a few memes, just know it'll take me a little time to reply to all of them.

° lastly, shipping. please respect my boundaries as i will surely intend to respect yours. don't force a muse and your ship idea upon me right off the bat, i don't do too well under that kind of pressure. if we ooc or our muses haven't had the chance to write/converse, i will be less likely to welcome a new romantic ship unless we've talked about it ooc. i'm just like many others and a huge sucker for shipping and building relationships for my muse but romantic ships aren't the only ones out there and i'm open to all kinds.

the stark contrast between she and the rest of her family are drawn in harsh lines. sweet as honey, her tenderness with all life ( big or small ) is a type of affection that isn't fit for war. a made loner, the outcast of HOUSE TARGARYEN, she who has been made known throughout as eccentric with her 'looney' ramblings and whisperings alike.

second born to viserys i targaryen and alicent hightower. sibling to rhaenrya ( half ), aegon ii, aemond and daeron targaryen. a girl but interested in her bugs and her solitude, left to be outcasted at such a young age due to her peculiar ways and ramblings. by the age of twelve she had bonded with the dragon DREAMFYRE and became a rider.

AGE: 20-21 self explanatory, follows the tv series

after the events of blood and cheese, helaena stuck in her grief and sadness shunned everyone, turning away from people who she thought she could trust. for the first time ever she decides to make a life altering decision for herself and within the middle of the night she takes the remainder of her kids and leaves on dragon back. finding sanctuary amongst a little cottage in a small village to live in peace.

helaena's death does not come to pass and she's able to overcome and madness she once seeps into. she's one of the few that ends up surviving the dance of dragons.

there never seemed to be any options for helaena. it was always, marry your sibling, have kids and become queen when he ascends the throne. even if it wasn't directly said to her, she wasn't stupid, it's what everyone wanted of her. on the night of her freshly knot tied finger, the princess took the opportunity and stole what money she could and fled before the consummation. five years later helaena has adopted enough skills that she can easily and quietly get by. she lives constantly on the move, always with knights close by and on her tail. ( note: the wedding takes place when she's 18 for timing matters )

upon the crowning of aegon, helaena is sent out on dragon back ( after the departure of aemond to storm's end ) to the north to visit the stark's unknowingly under a false guise ( of otto hightower ) that she is to simply visit with them for awhile. unaware that her family had different plans for her arriving there.

helaena lives with half sister rhaenyra, their father allowing her to do so after the funeral of laena. growing up in dragonstone with her niece's and nephews, she's grown close with them and of her time there. she has yet to be wed or bear children.

AGE: 8-14 being the middle child has always been hard, but being the daughter of a dying king and his love for his first daughter was harder.

there's a local insect sanctuary in the middle of town and the owner is said to be the daughter of the famous targaryen family household. locals say they've seen her talking to flowers and playing with the bugs the fly about. whatever they say, it's said coming from a place of affection. helaena targaryen is the only daughter of alicent hightower, one of the biggest names in all of london. it's no secret that there's a family feud and that helaena has done everything possible to try and get away from all that.

lady helaena targaryen, became a spinster at the tender age of twenty. during her season she had no callers, she wasn't named diamond by the queen. she didn't stick out then and she doesn't stick out now, just always stuck in the shadows of her siblings and her parents. the gossip wheel that was created by lady whistledown continues to circulate around the ton, season after season ;; the anonymous writer speaks of helaena's lack of appeal, lack of suitors and lack of interesting conversation, always seemingly just ripe for the picking.

living in the little palace, she succeeded in her training quicker than others did ; helaena dawned a red kefta at a young age. though with her abilities as a heartrender came the unusual ability to foretell the future and its accuracy. once the news broke and it had been discovered, the king asked for her immediate presence. and now she sits as the lantsov's prized personal fortune teller.

the outbreak happened when helaena was but a little girl, too young to understand what was actually happening. even as life started to rapidly decline around them, the targaryen's were well off ( in their house separated by everyone on the top of the hill ) enough to only sincerely worry only three weeks later when her father is the first in their house to get infected. as she knew it, everything changed for the worse that day.twenty years later after the divide of the family, the partial of them still remain in a quarantined home blocked off from the rest of the dwindled civilization. she leads a double life, one that consists of the seemingly caged girl in her rapunzel room minding her own business, and the same girl apart of the fireflies. ; having found her use just years prior. helaena is quiet in everything that she does, making it easy to sneak her way through the infected and soldiers alike.( NOTE: this is a primarily show based with the outbreak happening in 2003 )

she was born of god and man, a demigod wielding the knowledge of foretelling. such a wondrous abilities but with it came dangers. as she grew and her abilities enhanced, she was continuously hidden into the inner most parts of the many realms, away from the all seeing and other's vast yearning to know of the future. it isn't until ragnarok is upon them that she is said to be found in svartalfheim.
